These two little creatures are a tribute to the best friend, closest comrade and confidant. They are also a nod to the folktale of the Babayaga, a witch that lives in a house on a chicken leg. This is a childhood favorite of mine I created this series to express my love to my best friend, #1 going to her,

This is #3 and the last of the pairs that are available.

Each pair was made by hand to be unique. Each fixed to their own custom base.
#3 comes on a pair of branches from a tree in my yard. The branches are varnished and fixed to a 4" x 1.75" x 2.5" stained and waxed pine block.
The BirdHouses themselves are handmade from basswood with walnut trim.

Their bottoms and legs are made of plastic and feather. Those parts are the remaining parts from past temporary installations I have created which consisted of hundreds of suspended plastic birds. Whenever a bird is damaged or altered, I will save the parts to be used for further project like the Babayaga Houses I create.
The houses alone are approximately 3.5" x 1.5" x 1.25".
With the base, Finally And Forever are 8.5" x 2.5" x 4"
The bottom of the base is fixed with brass buttons so that the signature and series number written on the bottom is preserved.
You cant go wrong with these two, They are a tribute to love.
