The Ghost Ships are a series that began in 2016.

I cannot explain them more than just my fascination with the squiggle. The squiggle finds it's way in to many of my works, mostly in the background or filling the skies of a landscape. This series singles in on the object and portrays them as portraits of floating spirits or mirages.
They are like snap-shots of the objects in-between locations that they are featured in with my larger works.

Here is the 4th version I have made so far.
It is made up of silver gelatin prints with acrylics. The piece is coated in my homemade beeswax/dammar/carnauba wax encaustic.
It is mounted in a custom handmade frame.
It is 16" x 18" x 2.5" with frame.
The back is all wired and she is ready to hang
