"RECURRING" is from a photo series I created in 2013 titled INSOMNIAC
The mysteries of sleep and dreaming is one of the most commonly shared fascinations. Sleep is another existence, a second. third or tenth life.
Some dreams grow up with us. Sometimes changing, sometimes not at all. They can carry the same vibe across decades. These feelings can become so familiar, having their own character and presence.
This image is an allegory of burden of the recurring dream.
It is an archival giclée print on epson paper that is mounted on wood panel, sized with a PVA coating and then coated with thick gloss epoxy.
The panel is mounted in a custom made MDF board mat and framed in a pine frame.
The frame is stained and waxed.
The specs for Recurring are: 7" x 7" image in a 12" x 12" x 1 3/4" frame
The back is signed, titled, wired and ready to hang!
