Shed with bonus Halloween house
There is a shed in the backyard of my parents house where I grew up that my sister and I would refer to as "The Witch's House". We would dare each other to the shed which was scary even during the day. But at night, it was a true dare to be able to go, on your own, and peek inside.
The shed still stands and one summer I decided to photograph it with my niece Carly. We had her sister, Corrine, kneel behind her to add the extra set of hands to create the sinister illusion of this "Spider" witch that dwells inside "The Witch's House". This finally gave the childhood tale my sister and I created an image of the protagonist we feared as kids.
This version of SHED was created in 2015 in a small edition of 4 pigment prints.
